This year will be my third trip to the Kentucky Horse Park for the Kentucky Three-Day Event. As usual, the husband and I are going BRIGHT AND EARLY on Saturday to secure a good seat for XC.

Last year, we developed a good system of finding a combination we like, getting comfy, and hanging out there. This year, we plan on following the same course of action!

Eventing Nation just posted the first look at the course, and I have selected (drum-roll please)… Jump 23AB – the Frog Pond! Last year, we watched a combination near the beginning of the course, so this year I really wanted to watch a combination near the end.

Typically, we stay until 1 or 2PM. This year, I would like to hit up the trade fair after… but we will see. Especially since…

I am going to be working at the Trade Fair on Sunday! I am going to be manning the Whole Horse Equine table in the Wise Choice Tack booth (#132 in the Trade Fair).

So definitely come find me either day! Would love to meet/see anyone who is coming. I will probably post a pic of me in some kind of hat on the morning of either day to make myself more recognizable with the fat, yellow pony in tow!

I’m jealous! I was all set to come this year and meet up with Michele and then I realized I’ll be away at conferences from 4/30-5/9 and I can’t leave my husband alone with the horses longer than that… I’m so disappointed too. Next year.

One of my friends is flying down tomorrow and I am sending her with a list of things to be on the lookout for LOL.

Hahaha I keep telling myself that I am not buying anything…. but you never know 😉

Lol I feel like that won’t happen.

I shouldn’t be buying things because we are looking at moving….but I am on the hunt for a specific thing !
